about

The song is named "Intro" because of the word at the top of the chalkboard that was used when writing the song in 1979 when brother and sister Tammy and Thomas Ferranti decided to ditch school and write this song.

This is an early Beasleys recording featuring Lovecraft Beasley (Andy Rey) on keyboard.

Although the song has lyrics (see www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8veBHqyxjw&feature=channel_video_title for Spike singing and playing it on acoustic guitar) this version is instrumental and is included here as a "buried treasure" because of it's mesmerizing, swirling, magical sound.

lyrics

"Intro"
(REMEMBER: THIS version IS just an instrumental)

Hey, don't you realize
the sun that is in your eyes?
Hey, can't you see
what you do to me?

Ahhh (etc.)

Rain doesn't stop the fear
in time it's gonna disappear
Hey, you should take a while
c'mon and start to smile for me.

Ahhh (etc.)

Right now you are showing me
a start towards your destiny
And now you have set your pace
and now you're ahead of the race.

Ahhh (etc.)
